The use of measure words is as follows:
Quantity + measure word + noun;
Examples

- 十口人
Any noun can also be used as measure word;
- 一头雾水 yì tóu wù shuǐ, a head of confusion; foggy mind
- 一脸怒气,一脸正气 yì liǎn nù qì / zhèng qi; livid look, righteous look
- 一嘴谎话, yì zuǐ huǎng huà, a mouthful of lies; talk out of both corners of the mouth
- 一鼻子灰, yì bí zi huī, (idiom) reach the dead-end,
- 一耳朵骂人话, yì ěr dui mà rén huà; an earful of curse words
- 一身病,一身轻松; yì shēn bìng; sick all over; qīng sōng, totally relaxed
- 一手好牌, yì shǒu hǎo paí; a handful of winning cards
- 一把屎尿, yì bă shǐ/niào; a handful of poop and pee
- 一肚子不满; yí dù zi bù mǎn, a bellyful of resentment
- 一脚泥土, yì jiǎo ní tǔ; foot covered in mud
- 一地鸡毛, yí dì jī máo; a life of trivial (chicken feather)
